DBC Radio is an Android app developed by Digital Broadcasting Corporation Hong Kong Limited.

DBC Radio first became available on 30 May 2012. It is estimated that DBC Radio has been downloaded between 100000 and 500000 times from the Play Store.

DBC Radio 5.31 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
